HOW LONG CAN VIRUSES LIVE ON SURFACES?

Many factors affect the lifespan of viruses. These include temperature, humidity, and surface porosity. A study called Survival of Influenza A(H1N1) on Materials Found in Households: Implications for Infection Control revealed that viruses remain infectious twice as long on non-porous surfaces, like plastic and metal, as opposed to porous surfaces like clothing and wood. Although carpets and upholstery are porous, they can also be cool and dry.

A study entitled Persistence of coronaviruses upon inanimate surfaces and inactivation using biocidal agents found that the novel coronavirus could survive for up to 9 days on any surface, even carpet or upholstery.

They are available to assist with disaster recovery planning and disinfecting. You’ve found the right resource or vendor to assist your company in this difficult time.

To spread diseases, certain types of viruses and bacteria can travel through the air. These bacteria and viruses can easily be spread by ventilation systems, which allow them to grow and multiply in damp and dirty areas. High touch surfaces such as light switches and doors, door knobs and desks, chairs and water fountains are all important.

We can provide the decontamination experience that you require when there is a positive case. You can reduce spread by creating isolation for the affected area. Coronavirus disinfection is required for this area of the building in order to ensure that there has been no previous exposure or spread.

Nursing homes have been affected by Coronavirus.

They have also been one of the most difficult disinfection projects. Normal vendors are afraid of the facility, and relatives can’t go in. Staff are working overtime and exhausted. We are here to help, even though it is difficult. However, it is much better to have negative air contaminant parameters in place before contamination happens. We can set up isolation chambers that you can use in case of emergency. You can also increase air filtration by using portable HEPA air scrubbers to reduce the risk. Our air scrubbers can help filter contaminated air faster.

We can provide virus disinfection services to large public meeting areas like schools, hotels and faith-based organizations as part of the CDC Reopening Guidelines. HVAC & AIR QUALITY CONTROL

When the Hart Senate Building in Washington, D.C. became infested by anthrax a decade ago, ClO2 was used to kill the bacteria. The EPA found that indoor air is 5 times more polluted than outside air. Some buildings have 100 times more pollution. The air system must be kept clean and efficient so that employees can breathe in healthy air. Improve indoor air quality, happiness, health and productivity. Reduce indoor bacteria, viral or fungi concentrations, dirty ductwork and filters clogged with pollutants with regular HVAC maintenance. This can boost morale and productivity. Notice cleaner air, less pollutants, more energy and clarity for you, your family and your coworkers.
Dirty ductwork is a breeding ground for dust mites, which eat organic matter.
It is important to maintain your ventilation clean and free from dust. Filtration of air efficiently is the best way for these diseases to be prevented and to keep loved ones and employees from getting unnecessarily ill. It is easy to include the HVAC system and ductwork in the Chlorine Dioxide decontamination. The gas is small enough that it can penetrate through HEPA filters like they were not there. And, because it is a dry gas, it is able to navigate the curves and turns of the system.
Harnessing the Power of Chlorine Dioxide for Effective Air Duct Decontamination
In a 300ppm ClO2 solution, the killing time of a bacterium takes only milliseconds. However, this is enough time to prevent ClO2 penetration into living tissues below 0.1mm. This minimizes cytotoxic effects of using it as an antiseptic. The most important thing is that bacteria cannot develop resistance to ClO2 because it reacts with biological Thiols, which are essential for all living organisms. The first step to removing allergens and contaminants from the air is cleaning the ductwork.
The ductwork can be difficult to see and so may not get cleaned often.
The most powerful sanitizing, disinfection and decontamination agent ever created, is widely considered to be chlorine dioxide. REMOVE ALL AIRBORNE ALLERGENS & PATHOGENS. You can keep your system clean and dry while also removing allergens and airborne contaminants from the air. ClO2 is a certified fungicide and algaecide, as well as biocide. According to the American Lung Association (ALA), air ducts can contain more germs than chicken coops. These microorganisms can be easily propagated by ventilation systems, which spread them around.
Clean Solutions can be applied to system ductwork and drip pans, as well as evaporator coils, to control odors caused by bacteria, mold, mildew and yeast.
To maintain stasis microbial controls, it is important to continue routine maintenance with Chlorine Dioxide. Lightly coat surfaces. It is important to allow for sufficient system coverage due to the length and size of duct systems.

10 QUESTIONS TO ASK WHEN SEARCHING FOR VIRUS DECONTAMINATION COMPANIES

Although it is not difficult to find companies willing to offer these services, it can be difficult to find the right ones. This service requires certifications and certain qualifications. It also requires the proper cleaning procedures and the use of EPA registered disinfectants. The company’s reputation could be damaged if they don’t choose the right company. Here are five questions to ask before you hire a company to provide this service.

OSHA guidelines recommend that all employees who are responsible for virus decontamination must have at least the required training. This includes Respiratory Protection training, Blood Borne Pathogen training, HAZWOPER training, and certifications.

It is also important to determine what personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, the company will use.

If they have a program, it is also important to know if team members have been fit tested. Most businesses have not considered commercial virus disinfection until now. Coronavirus is a serious threat to customers and employees. Future profits are uncertain. If a COVID-19-infected company closes its doors, they might have to reopen them. Your employees will feel safer if you disinfect surfaces on a regular basis.

Being proactive in planning is much better than the need to be reactive in a crisis.

It is expensive and time-consuming to disinfect a building with many Covid cases. Regular disinfection is better than waiting for an outbreak to occur. You will be noticed by your customers and employees when you take extra precautions to protect them.

The CDC and EPA state that a virus can be physically eliminated by cleaning properly or using disinfectants. However, if they claim to have a magic cure for viruses, it could be a warning sign.

Or, even worse, they could be mixing chemicals together, which could lead to the release of chemicals much more deadly than the virus they are supposed to be treating.

Ask the company to give you the safety data sheet (SDS) if they tell you the name and chemical of the disinfectant they are using for virus decontamination. They should be able to send this to you, and the disinfectant should be on the EPA list N, which is the approved list of disinfectants for products that meet EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2.

The SDS will explain any potential health hazards and side effects.

We recommend that you get the assistance of a qualified person to understand the SDS before you use it. Our products are on the EPA list N, eco-friendly, and safe for food contact surfaces.

While ULV fogging or Electro Static Application using Binary Technology sounds cool, it doesn’t include the initial CDC recommended steps at the time this article was written, which basically say if you are providing virus decontamination services to make sure a surface is clean, then to let the disinfectant dwell for a specified amount of time per the product label, and then wipe it off with a clean rag or let dry. You might not get the desired results if the company does not follow the basic steps.

This is a tricky question. After cleaning, there is no approved product that can disinfect and decontaminate surfaces continuously. Once the cleaning is complete, any further contamination or recontamination can occur immediately.

To add protection, the company should also have workers compensation and general liability insurance. You should also check for exclusions for infectious disease. For more information about your company, contact an agent or broker.

These questions will help you narrow down your search for the right disinfection and decontamination company.

For more information on our decontamination and disinfection services, please feel free to contact us. National Hotline (844)863-33297

Our preventive and emergency disinfection services can help you take action against the flu season and other infectious outbreaks. Our fees are very competitive, we offer discounted rates for larger commercial facilities and patrons that take advantage of our subscription services.

We provide certification.  If you’d like, you can also place special signage in your windows.  A great deal of attention is paid to aesthetics and odor.  All disinfectants are odorless and leave a fresh, clean scent.  It must smell clean if it does not smell clean.  Clean storefronts with clean signage, clean floors and a pleasant smell seem like a safer, healthier place to shop.

Clean Solutions uses disinfectant foggers to provide both preventive cleaning as well as decontamination services. This is a more efficient method than traditional pump spray disinfection that is commonly used by businesses. Foggers are faster than regular pump sprayers. A fogger can disinfect approximately 15,000 square feet. This is 10X faster than a standard pump sprayer.

The fogging system reduces particles to a smaller size which allows for better penetration, coverage and uniform distribution of chemical disinfectant.

The size of the particles is smaller so it can have less impact on materials sensitive to moisture like paper and fabric.

The more we can apply disinfectant quickly, the cheaper the service will be. It is a good idea to store any paperwork and loose items before the service. Cleaning your janitorial service before the scheduled service will save you money. A building without occupants will allow us to move more quickly and save labor.

Everyday, our crews practice and train to destroy microorganisms.

Preventive cleaning and disinfection is an affordable service that will allow you to save money on emergency decontamination if needed. We are friendly and professional, and will give you the information you require.

Apartment complexes and residential homes should be treated twice a year, or as often as necessary. To ensure environmental control, commercial and industrial buildings as well as health care facilities can be treated each month. If another company tells you that you need treatment more than this, you might consider that their motivations are purely monetary.

DISINFECTION TECHNOLOGIES WE OFFER

Manual and mechanical disinfection can be applied in a variety of ways. Manual disinfection techniques include mopping, wiping, and hand spraying. Fogging and electric spraying are two examples of mechanical disinfection. Both methods have the same goal: to achieve the EPA recommended dwell time. To document the appropriate dwell time, we use digital photos and timers.

Our hospital grade, Military strength disinfectant can be used in a green-friendly manner and has a very short dwell time. It has been approved by the EPA for Coronavirus disinfection. It is safe to use and does not require respiratory protection. After disinfection, you can resume work immediately. Your customers and employees will be safe from harmful chemical vapors.

ULV fogging is an acronym for ultra-low volume. But don’t let that fool you. This refers to the size of the droplet produced, and not the volume of liquid it atomizes. The droplet size is measured in microns. It can range from 5 to 120 depending on the fogger. Combining a pump and blower, atomize and push the liquid into the air. The more liquid you push, and the smaller the droplet, the greater the coverage. There are many ULV foggers available, including automated foggers that can release liquids at a specific time and industrial units that fill large warehouses quickly.

Our hurricane nebulizer technology is perfect for our clients with very large spaces that need disinfection service daily or weekly. It uses a fine mist to kill microorganisms and on the other hand it also sanitizes your space. Thus, generating microparticles and nano-particles of disinfectant into all the cracks and crevices.

We also specialize in disinfection and infection control, consequently, delivering an unmatched level of performance. We provide value to our customers through exceptionally effective and economical disinfection systems. We engineer and build custom automated systems for our clients.

We will wipe down the touch points and then treat all remaining contact surfaces with the disinfectant using a fine mist. This ensures that no other areas are neglected.
Clean Solutions can help your business get back on track in a safer and healthier environment for your staff, customers, and everyone who visits your facility. We disinfect hard surfaces and non-porous surfaces in your building with a 99.99% efficiency rate. We also clean porous surfaces. IFC guarantees that your space has received the best disinfectant treatment available.

  • HVLP fogging refers to high volume, low pressure fogging. This fogging service applies the correct amount of disinfecting solution or other solution to the appropriate place. This commercial fogging service works best in areas containing electronics, sensitive factory equipment, and occupied areas. Although it takes slightly longer than ULV fogging, there is less waste of disinfectant. It is very precise in its application. These foggers are available to outfit company vehicles and trailers.

Fogging is the best option if malodor is a concern. Our thermal fogging services can quickly eliminate odors from areas that have suffered recent fire damage. Deodorizing is only possible if the source has been removed.

Please read and follow all instructions that come with the package before using our products. People can get sick from breathing any type of fog, mist or water. Moreover, few products on EPAList N have been specifically designed to fog. According to the EPA, it is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a way that is inconsistent with its labeling. Other than legal consequences, creating an environment that is immediately hazardous to the health and life of occupants can have serious consequences. The permissible exposure limit (PEL) is listed on the SDS sheet. Industrial disinfection fogging requires that the PEL is not exceeded. This is a crucial safety component. Discuss your options with the company’s safety and health officer.

For professionals, OSHA requires that a MSDS be on site for each chemical used. These resources are available for free download here. The type of organic and porous materials used in the facility is another consideration. The structural integrity of a material like cardboard can be compromised if it becomes saturated. This can be avoided by closely monitoring the application method and the ambient conditions.

Our hurricane nebulizer uses a fine mist to kill microorganisms and on the other hand it also sanitizes your space quickly and efficiently. Thus, generating microparticles and nano-particles of disinfectant into all the cracks and crevices.
Likewise, we are also specialists in disinfection and infection control, consequently, delivering an unmatched level of performance. Furthermore, we provide value to our customers through an exceptionally effective disinfection system.

Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation(UVGI() is a sterilization application that uses short-term wavelengths UV(UV B UV-C) light to kill/inactivate Microorganisms By destroying nucleic acids Disrupting their DNA They are rendered unable to perform essential tasks, cellularFunctions. UVGI can be used in many applications such as food, air, water, surfaces and more.

In water purification UV-C light at the Earth’s surface is weak because the ozone layer in the atmosphere blocks it. UVGI can make circulating air and water systems inhospitable to pathogens like bacteria, viruses, and molds. To disinfect air and water, UVGI can be combined with a filter system. We conceptualize and build custom automated systems for our clients.

Disinfect your space with electrically charged nano-particles. Electrostatic spray cleaning is the best choice for electronics, desktops, floors, and walls that require a spotless finish. Electrostatic spray cleaning is also a good option for equipment and difficult to reach areas. If an item of equipment is frequently used, it will be cleaned with electrostatic spray cleaners. The electrically charged disinfectant nanoparticles bond to the underside of things, in cracks and crevases, and they have a stronger force than gravity so the particles don’t just fall to the ground like some other methods.

  • Thermal fogging is a process that evaporates solvent to create a gas instead of atomizing liquid. This fog is used primarily in deodorization, but it can also be used to disinfect and decontaminate. These foggers offer incredible coverage. The area must not be occupied during the thermal fogging service for safety reasons. Expect a longer wait time before the occupants return. This is usually six to twelve hours. If necessary, you can speed up the waiting period by encouraging air changes using our industrial air movers.

This includes any inanimate human touch points such as light switches and door handles, file drawer pulls, desk handles, and file cabinet drawer pulls. Clean Solutions uses treated towels such as microfiber cloths to disinfect these areas.

The services of decontamination cover everything from nuclear to biological clean-ups. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) classify hazardous waste clean ups into 5 different categories including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive, also known as CBRNE. CBRNE is a hazardous waste operation and emergency response situation that requires decontamination training for all companies. Clean Solutions™’ decontamination team receives this training. We follow the OSHA HAZWOPER guide (29 CFR 1910.120(q).

We also, as required by law, provide all employees with appropriate levels of personal protective equipment (PPE) under the HAZWOPER standard (29 CFR 1910.120(q)) sub part 1. The PPE used depends on how hazardous the substance release is, which includes the quantity and potential health effects to workers. Workers involved in decontamination work should also have proper immunizations including Tetanus A and B.
Our decontamination team is highly qualified, certified, and has extensive experience. Our team is familiar with large projects that involve multiple industry experts as well as multiple materially interested parties. It is not unusual for additional experts to be required during large projects. The vast network of experts in the industry, including engineers and industrial hygienists, is familiar with these types of projects. They are available to help if necessary.

Clean Solutions’ key attributes include its safety and low toxicity. Chlorine Dioxide is a Category IV toxicity rating, which means it has no harmful effects. It can be directly applied to HVAC system ductwork.

This product has a low EPA toxicity rating, meaning that there are no adverse skin (eyes), ocular (eyes), inhalation(breathing) or ingestion (swallowing). A biocide that is effective in killing a variety of bacteria, protozoa, viruses, chemical decontamination elements, algae, fungi, mold, yeast, beta lactams and more.
